Ha, I just came across this 7" today smile Didn't buy it though, because I already have it on his album.  big_smile

Found the compilation Vive La France (for free) last Queensday where it's on. It's been on my mind since then. smile

I go that too. There are some decent songs on it, I have 4 volumes of this compilation.
I also Like Dansez maintenant and Trop Beau (French version of Sugar Baby Love) by Dave by the way.

^^ Strange (but great) track from Brando compared to his other releases. I also like the a-side What Now My Love which is originallly in French from Gilbert Becaud as Et Maintenant.

I really like this, quite dark and weird indeed, nicer than the A-side IMO. Just found the 7" by the way. Didn't here the track before but I was pleasantly surprised.

I do have the album version.

Checked it out and hey they covered Elite - Gentle Wind (sang by Max Him) as Caught By Surpise. It actually sounds more like the Italian version

I have this 7" though I took a wile before I realised it was a cover. I don't have the Elite version smile

Some more purchases:
Jiskefet - Tampert 12"
Orphee - La Belle Et La Mort 7" (Teldec)

It's fun to collect different versions of some songs, though mostly it just starts by accident. It all depends on what  you come across on flea markets/shops etc. By now I have  5 versions of El Bimbo (have to add one lp to discogs), then I thought it would be fun to see how many versions there are in Discogs. smile
Maybe I should make a (I can't get no) Satisfaction list, as I have a few different versions of that song as well, and  there must be quite a lot.

They had backstock of various records on the Celluloid-label. It was at stand 295. Tried to look up their name but can't them the dealerslist somehow...

Collective robot shopping smile
It was a nice stand, they had nice stuff fo fair prices, most stuff was mint, at least the vinyl, sometimes the sleeves had a bit of damage.
Nini Raviolette  (thanks to Rude for the tip by the way), Mathematiques Modernes, Jacno, we all bought it from the same seller smile
