not really dumbass... but funny enough:
"I say manufacture what you can afford and do it with love."
-> +1
love that vid... super intense!
@ vincentkoreman
"LEBEN IST LEBEN is a classic,..."
-> at least it is much better than the austrian "gassenhauer" by opus. but for me THE track of the opus dei album is "geburt einer nation". the laibach "concept" works pretty good with that one.
probably the worst cover version they ever did is "alle gegen alle". the original by daf is one of the most powerful tracks they ever did. but somehow laibach managed to ruin the whole track.
back in the days laibach must have been really impressive live on stage. only saw them once live in 2003... so much too late.
And they made the music for the movie Iron Sky !
which was pretty disappointing imo.
@ Guyver 303
"Excellent stuff." -> Mick says: "Danke!"
for the tracklist check: http://soundcloud.com/mickwills/mick-wills-golden-pudel
and i regret i did not buy the hours compilation http://www.discogs.com/Various-Hours/release/301899 i saw for 25 euros. must had a weak moment
it's still on my "wantlist". so, too bad i haven't seen it on fair...
love that "cold as ever" track on it:
@ Scarface
"Let me try to explain that "Puntenboxer" or "Punkte Boxer" also cause I'm curious about it and not using that term myself..."
-> i think it sounds pretty cool. almost as cool as "knakenpoetser", nein? so, vielen dank for the detailed explanation.
@ Scarface
"Nice one! I often have the lyrics in my head: "My time, my time I love my time etc.""
-> that's why i bought it for Mick. last time IG bought the lp and since Mick heard the track on the portable it stuck in his head... so every now and then he starts to sing: "My time, my time..."
the vid on youtube is also super sweet:
@ herr 66
"i have the max and specs on 12", i think the whole story is longer there. it runs on side a and b."
-> crrraaazzzy!
@ Ray Van Mechelen
hm, and what does that "Punkte Boxer" stand for?
@ narcisco
ja, patience... it seems that the seller has a lot of that good virtue.
that radionome compilation was already hanging there last april for the same price... if i remember it right.
@ Freek
"not from a dutch wine guru "
-> ha, ha, ha... guess you are right there!
@ Ray Van Mechelen
what's a "puntenbokser"?
narcisco wrote:Queen Of Blood wrote:Max'n Specs - Don't Come Stoned And Don't Tell Trude! (CNR) -> What a story... Tip by Scarface.
The guy who wrote that track, Ilja Gort, is a wine guru today.
I did my internship at his company which wasnt a really nice experience.. too much of an opportunistic prick imo..
really? hm... from a wine guru you expect something different.
