Re: New releases - What are you looking forward to?

opinions based on one track out of at least 8 or 9? c'mon get real...

like it or not: Brian is doing this stuff for years and that electro thing was 10 years ago  hmm no need for insults..

I've been wondering about this for quite a while. When did all my favorite Dutch Electro dude's start making so much damn House? Fake and Gay.

TB or not TB

Re: New releases - What are you looking forward to?

Trendy, fake AND gay. My my, that is... Yeah, I see, that has got to be... really, really... Eh... Really very... Cause you know... No wait.. it's just not... I am very ashamed of myself... Good God I am sorry... Trendy fake AND gay, that's very unlike the stuff we did over the past 10 years which was very... erm.. unpopular, real and erm... hetero...

Wow. I didn't know that passive netspeak was going to be taken so literal. Apologies to the offended...

Re: New releases - What are you looking forward to?

I didn't insult anyone. There's just a chicago house overload the last two years and that's a fact. There were like a zillion The Hague releases in that style in 2011 alone.

Re: New releases - What are you looking forward to?

That's absolutely true Ray, there's has been a neo-chicago-house overload for the last couple of years (not only from the hague) and most of it is boring squared. But let's be honest, Brian has been doing this stuff for years and years long before everyone jumped the bandwagon. He's the freaking 707 master and i wouldn't want to call his effort just another chicago house track collection. Especially not based on one track. Needless to say, i'm looking forward to the new album.

Re: New releases - What are you looking forward to?

I am very much looking forward to the new Orgue Electronique album. There've been a lot of neo-chicago tracks but not a lot of albums & Brian is the best at it.

Honey, in the morning the bees are singing and the birds are stinging in an open head surgery.

Re: New releases - What are you looking forward to?

I don't want to bash him you know, I own almost every single record Orgue Electronique has done, so one could even call me a true fan  wink
It's actually a pity that this will be released in a time where that type of music is released on cue.

Re: New releases - What are you looking forward to?

That's alright, I see your point. That kind of sound is indeed more present these days. I'm not out there to promote or to be overly confident about my own stuff, but I honestly believe the record is personal enough to still please at least a few people. And it's got a cool cover big_smile

Re: New releases - What are you looking forward to?

Ditto Ray. And actually I'd add that it's pretty cool for Brian to be here and stand behind your tracks and have a dialog with your listeners about them. Refreshing.

And old and off topic as it may be, I'll also maintain Eye That Never Sleeps imo is one of the best Electro records around.  tongue

Was about to get on the soapbox bout the same thing. Orgue's been at the House well before the overload began. It'll be interesting to see how long it lasts. Techno or Electro next? Money's on...either  wink

true, The Eye That Never Sleeps is one of the best on the Bunker 3000 series, my favourite Orgue Electronique tracks however are the ones on Kapellmeister Grammofon. This one is also really, really good: http://www.discogs.com/Orgue-Electroniq … ease/33876  (both tracks are top).

I've only heard the Legowelt track on this 7", which is pretty sick. Hard to find a listening sample of Orgue Electronique track anywhere...Should prob just buy it. Seems underpriced compared to some of these semi-rarities.
