agreed. i was psyched to hear what giorgio had in store but to me it was nothing special and the loop got old real fast. some nice work by nile rodgers on there but mostly ruined by guest artist singing over the top..
Yeah the MdM album is sounding great...avenger the track for me.

Daft Punk are shit, much as it pains me to say as they have a special place in my heart...as i still remember seeing them during the '97 homework tour. I keep hoping against hope that they will return to the dance mania style of homework, the Discovery album set a bench mark for the levels of production in modern pop....and the lazy french fucks have basically been trying to re-package and do the some old shite as discovery(for the third time), no evolution of sound what-so-fucking-ever. Just the same stupid robot voices, the kids seem to love it...it does my nut in now.

Juan Atkins and Moritz von Oswald are Borderland
Juan Atkins and Moritz von Oswald will release a collaborative album called Borderland through Tresor in June.
The duo will debut the project with a live performance at this year's MUTEK festival in Montreal. Although their shared production history dates back more than 20 years (Atkins was the occasional third member in von Oswald's 3MB project with Thomas Fehlmann, which released an album on Tresor in 1992), Borderland will be their first album as a duo. The eight-track LP was recorded during studio sessions in Berlin earlier this year, and will see release as a series of 12-inches and a full CD album.
