Well my wife would argue that I'm more in love with my synths these days than I am with her. So who knows how to take that?
People who collect vinyl just for value sake or kitsch aren't really disco fans. I love music and disco regardless of format.

I've kissed mine. And a drum machine once too. Not deep long kiss or anything. More like a papal kiss.
I'm not kidding. I'm kinda new to music making so when I make an amazing patch or get four synths going at the same time I get pretty excited.

Today i played The Guyer's Connection - "She's So Hot" on work.
Next to me sat one insecure 28 year old (i could have expected a dumbass comment like that from a 19 year old) who started whining quitely "ok..how can someone listen to this, really?"
And i just spun my chair and replied "Ok..it isnt your thing i take it? What do you like then?"
"I like everything but this was really strange"
"I like it though"
Then his face turned red.
And then the silly lets be friends-thing:
"But i could probably like it to if i listened to it often"
"Yeah but tell me what you like perhaps i can find SOMETHING you could like"
"Errh..i like everything.." what a stupid ass reply. And then he looked really disturbed and wanted to stop talking about it.
Lame fuck.
Indoctrined and brainwashed. I got so pissed off so i spend the rest of the afternoon asking him "Do you like this? and i played a track, and kept on like that for like an hour until it was really unpleasant between us.
Its these guys who calls disco gay.
