Antoni Maiovvi is the disco persona of Anton Maiof, a prolific British composer, performer and DJ from Bristol. His sound blends electro, Italo, and horror soundtrack elements, via programmed drums and synths, electric guitars, vocals, and big reverbs, to adeptly produce synthetic drama. In such a short career Maiovvi has released four albums, and a handful of 12" singles on labels as diverse as Seed, Kompakt, and Cyber Dance. He is also co-owner of Giallo Disco Records, the last welcome haven for the genre known as 'Horror Disco'.
