Topic: Valerie Dore / Dora Carofiglio / Monica Stucchi

Can someone sort things out when it comes to Valerie Dore:
Who was the voice behind this alias, was it Dora Carofiglio or Monica Stucchi? (or both?)

Is it a similar story as with Den Harrow / Stefano Zandri / Tom Hooker?

I have been under the impression Dora Carofiglio did the vocals for the Valerie Dore songs as well as a lot of other high pitch italo projects, like Novecento, Angie/Angie Care, Nico Band, Ranko, Answering Service, Alba, Funky Family, Voyagers, Domina and so on...

Did Monica Stucchi ever sing or was she only "the face" of Valeris Dore?

By the way:
what about the great track She's mine from Reale Accademia, was Dora singing the vocals or is it someone else?

Re: Valerie Dore / Dora Carofiglio / Monica Stucchi

My understanding is this:

It's So Easy / The Night / Get Closer = Dora Carofiglio
Lancelot / The Legend / etc = Simona Zanini

from discogs Monica Stucchi page: "Italian singer and graphic designer. Born: 28 May 1963 in Milan, Italy. Monica Stucchi was "the face of" Valerie Dore. She was the performer on stage and in TV shows. The real voices of Valerie Dore were Dora Carofiglio (at the first time) and Simona Zanini (from 1986), but this fact is nowhere credited on the releases."

btw Angie Care / Angie / Domina = Angela Carofiglio (sister of Dora)

hope this info clears things up somewhat smile
