Topic: question for german sellers

guten morgen

how much should it cost to ship only one cd (standard release in jewel case) to toronto canada?
does anyone have any idea? i'm looking at an item on discogs and the seller wants 12euro for shipping. thats 4 times the cost of the cd, and they charge the same ammount for 1 record  or up to 4 cds, and i feel its a bit silly and overexaggerated.

am i justified in feeling that he ought to charge less for shipping?
??

Maxibrief international (Big Letter international):

up to 100g. : 4euro
101-500g : 8Euro
501g - 1000g 12euro
regristed: + 2,05euro

its not very feasible that a cd weights 1k....
i use to send also 1record (which is less then 500g) for 8euro international as "big letter"

rules for "big letter" one site MUST be minimum 14cm long. in contrast to "normal letters" its is also allowed to have a square format, if its longer than 14cm.

Somebody was trying to tell me that CDs are better than vinyl because they don't have any surface noise. I said, "Listen, mate, -life- has surface noise..." [John Peel]
