Just for fun and to mix things up i made some metal mixes, not a genre I'm too familiar with. First part is mostly Heavy Metal and second part is a bit harder with lots of Trash Metal. Most tracks are from the 80's!

Was just playing part 2 and really enjoying it. Immediate time traveling to the first few years of high school, when a lot of this music circulated on tape. Coming from a christian family, this was very "dangerous" music for me.. perfect for a teenager state of mind I suppose, although I also played quite a bit of christian trash metal.. maybe to make up for all the evil trash metal that I enjoyed as well. And to make sure that satan didn't snatch my soul when I was asleep  lol

Yeah the 80's aesthetics and nostalgia was what i had in mind. Never been a super big fan of the music but it sure was a big part back then. Remember country fairs and me drooling over Heavy Metal t-shirts, pins and flags as a kid.

'Christian trash and death metal' - didn't know there was such a thing, love these a bit odd music genres.

Lol I didnt even know that Christian thrash metal existed either,...maybe they didn't review it in the Kerrang metal mag I read at the time.  big_smile

I think there's been a bit of a metal revival going on thanks to Eddie in Stranger Things 4....the "real" Metallica fans are up in arms apparently about all these filthy casual hipster coming late to the party now metal is cool(cuz some program says it is)

I have tons of it in storage in my basement. I can't find it in my heart to sell it, even though they've become quite valuable.

Keep it! Some stuff you ain't supposed to sell. Went through the Mutant box and found some old drawings i made as a kid, flashbacks. No I haven't! Saw the trailer but then forgot. Checked today and saw that its still on SVTPlay, thanks for the reminder!

I have enjoyed these two contemporary metal albums a lot past few months, maybe you do too? No 80s trash by any means, but it might do the trick.

Yeah agree about Mixcloud but i couldn't fit the mixtape at Soundcloud! (only have 3h for free).

Will check! haven't dived in to the newer stuff yet! But there seem to be a YouTube bug! @S.T.E.N.T.E.C. I cant see the YouTube thingy's? Tried several browsers and Android.
