Yep, talk about a gay scene and id say hardcore was it. So many of the texas bands had gay members, and even bands like husker du etc

back on topic: make it clear to your brother that there's nothing to be ashamed of. i won't pretend that i can imagine how hard it can be to break this to one's parents but in any "healthy family" (as in loving, caring parents, their offspring not fucking up too much during adolescence) this should be possible. unless their judgment is impaired by religious misinformation.
