@ITALOMASTER
Yes, nice meeting, or just greeting with you was it actually. I had to move on... Hope you had a good (finding) time though.

The get together with Mick, Queen, I-G, Rude, Endfest, The Guy With The Hat (what's your name again?)was "gezellig" I thought. Hey I even sold 2 records to Mick (non profit!). I hope he still likes them... Saw Baz also (somewhere in the distance?) and TLR (later on). It's getting more of  a social event like this. smile But only for a while ofcourse cause some digging has to be done.

"Finding something that looks interesting and also sounds good when listening on your portable can also be very nice."

i agree, i like to dig a pile of interesting looking records on the 4/3/2/1 euro stands, then listen trough them and discover nice stuff.
the stuf from my wants is almost just a bonus. although i was happy to find those from my wants:
tom tom club/mr. yella - genius of love/yella
michael jackson thiller (incl. intrumental)
ann margret - everybody needs somebody to love sometimes
kraftwerk - trans europe express 12" (although i later thought that i would probably still play the LP because of the segue from trans europa express into metall auf metall)
began began - computer wars
rockets - on the road again LP
disco circus - disco circus LP
the house rockers -everybody do it
adonis and the endless poker - the poke (jackmaster mix)
mike oldfield/orb - orbular bells (for a long time this seemed not to exist, now it's not very rare or hard to find anymore)
connie - funky little beat
ESG - moody(x-rated remix, i actually found the original 'dance to the beat of moody' at the previous air, i still have to compare the versions, this one sounds solid and maybe a bit extended, which is nice)

and some nice surprises:
curtis - how can i tell her (i allmost had a heart attack when i started searching for info and found this: http://www.popsike.com/php/quicksearch. … 0&y=0)
steve winwood - penultimate zone (nice spacey disco fusion moog rock)
nino velasquez - mambo disco cha (some very nice latin disco weirdness)
les griots - exotissimo 8 - Pour recevoir vos amis comme

Yes on 12". Have to give it a good listen still. Never saw or knew it when I held it in my hands. Bought it because it had a lot of early Human League on it. And because it was so cheap smile It has pictures next to each track on the backsleeve. I guess these are pictures of the 7-inches (?). Rock 'N Roll is a cover of Gary Glitter.

it's usually not cheap, but affordable if you have patience on ebay. I have a 'broken' double copy of it which I don't like to put in the bin, because it looks so nice.

"it was my pleasure to briefly meet you smile"
-> ja, and to meet you... too bad you were so late!
hope you had some nice finds!

@ EliasRafael
"any nice findings?"
-> not that much... at least for me!

visage - mind of a toy 12"
section 25 - looking from a hilltop 12"
moon birds - cosmos no 1 7"
moon birds - energy mc1 7"
tangerine dream - thief ost
kraftwerk - radio-activity lp (south korean bootleg)
emak lp (the first one)

plus there were 3 other records (fix planet! compilation, climax productions compilation and the first dark day lp) that i really would have love to buy.
but they were all around 60 euro and me too much of a knakenpoetser to pay that much for a record.

you don't have that stuff in holland, or? hey, and the guy with the hat was Endfest, no? big_smile

hmpf, too bad we forgot to take a picture of us sitting there, damn!

"Hey I even sold 2 records to Mick (non profit!). I hope he still likes them..."

oh, and talking of non-profit...

i found 005 and 006 for 1 euro each at a warehouse sale. they had tons of them there...
just saw on discogs that the 006 is really wanted, wow!
and yeah i guess it's some kind of bootleeg label for d.j.'s only... just like dance classics, hom or classics.

It's a good reward for two days of hard work, ain't it?

You're always thoughtful enough to bring something "lekkers" to eat. This time the " hanuta hasselnusstafel"..... I wonder what's next! I know hasselnuss (hazelnootpasta) but only as something you put on your bread. The secret of the hasselnusstafel was to take off the label: underneath is te opening. I cracked the hassenusstafel (not bad for a first-timer)! I brought some "Engelse drop" for you but was too busy with my non-profit business... That Escape From New York - Safe Our Love goes for quite some money on discogs (!)....well you're non-profit or you ain't...
The Guy With The Hat said he only visited the forum to download mixes once in a while so he is not Endfest. Endfest was the guy with the "trainingsjas", right? Nice from him to offer a place to sleep (it was only to sleep was it ;-) Dutch pussy beer?? We don't have Buckler anymore so I wonder what brand that is, then.

Looking forward to the next fair also. I'm already making an appointment to bring PHAEAX next time. He's quite a character (good for some laughs for sure :-)!

i didn't want to ask Endfest again if we can sleep at his place as he already had a german invasion last month!

Ha, ha yeah good one! How do you call it then? A picture will work:
http://www.kolkleu.nl/images/engelse%20drop.jpg
Not typical Dutch but very lekker

"-> oh, wow! i will show him... maybe he will find something for you in return!"
No, nothing in return...or maybe next fair ofcourse (if you can remember for so long).

"-> and he was there with us? hm... who was that?
Yes he had a hat like this
http://fotos.marktplaats.com/kopen/1/b5/iydL9u1oHOgcn16jU/o9wg==.jpg
But he was sitting a bi further from us so I guess you haven't noticed him. Endfest was talking with him.

"and the ifm cap!"
Oh, didn't notice that, shit!

"-> aehm, grolsch!"
For pussies? C'mon no!

Grolsch is anti-establishment (Barry Hay (singer of Golden Earring) also??)...... Well, what do I know, I'm not of beerdrinker myself so..

Not making any promises with PHAEAX cause you never know with him but I am having good hope. Making him jealous with my purchases will surely motivate him. smile

those pics work pretty well! the guy with the had was steph (i hope i spelled it right).
