That was the point of the graphic, to illustrate CURRENT Goldman alumni in positions of power across Europe.

It wont hurt to do some research yourself..
yesterday this docu was on dutch tv, intro and voice over are in dutch but interviews are in mostly in English, interesting stuff fo sure: "Goldman Sachs en de vernietiging van Griekenland / "Goldman Sachs and the destruction of Greece"
In other words linking a handful of people to Goldman Sachs is statistically irrelevant. Come back with hard numbers involving all current fiscal government employees... AND former ones too (since that list counts them as well). heh.
It wont hurt to do some research yourself..
Sorry, but the burden of proof rests with the person stating a hypothesis (says my 7 years of university statistical analysis & social research methodology).
Yeah, I watched that ridiculous crap on the link you sent. Documentaries that use kind of manipulative and sensationalist approach (that music... yeesh!) are usually pretty specious.
Besides, Greece totally faked it's numbers to allow it to get into the EU in the first place. When I had a gig there 7 years ago, I remember my Greek friends describing the intense level of corruption in all sectors. They were already totally embarrassed for their country then, especially when pointing out the crumbling infrastructure.
Yes, Goldman Sachs is stupid powerful. Do they control the EU? I don't know, but simply pointing out that private financial corporations have a lot of power (no shit) doesn't automatically entail that we're living in some wild conspiracy.
The truth is usually much more banal.
Need more info.
so you didnt watched the whole docu?

^i would say: max keiser
@Freek - I watched the youtube videos on that page but now I see there's some Silverlight thing I need to install. Not even global conspiracies can make me install a superfluous Microsoft plugin
Keiser is def cool. I watch most episodes. He makes it plainly obvious that the conspiracy isn't really all that dark and underworld like. It's pretty much in plain view. Major financial organizations colluding with and against government's to steer the worlds economy.
Not to derail but here's the latest:

More graphs now plz...
so its, "ridiculous crap, manipulative and sensationalist approach, pretty specious, a global conspiracy" without even watching the actual docu..
interesting.. aah wait:

@Freek - Yes, those other videos on that page are just that.
Look, I clicked your link, saw an article with some videos posted, I watched them then responded to you.
The top of that page just looks blank in my browser, except for a tiny "Install Silverlight" icon which only showed up later when it couldn't load the fucking microsoft plugin.
Post a video in a proper format if you want people to critique it, not just the suckers who install superfluous Microsoft plugin junk. Besides, who the hell uses Silverlight these days??? It's like posting a RealPlayer video.
i wonder if the US had anything to do with the economic woes of europe. i mean it seems that at least some of the guys are working for us. also the US dollar isnt looking so bad these days in comparison
