Anybody else in love with their work?
I am having a total rebound after not listening to any of their albums for a year or so.... now, once again, I can't stop...
I like Sonology of Sex and the Hacker
You should check out the very early Human League/Golden Hour of the future stuff when that Adi Newton guy was still in it, one of the best electronic music ever made imo, if you don't know it
Wasn't one of those famous serial killers a big fan of Clock DVA, like he listened only to their records and had no other music or something like that
i've been a fan of them since i first heard them in the early 80's. one of the few bands that succesfully re-invented themselves.. the later albums are very cool minimal electronic, the older full band tracks are totally unique, no other band ever sounded like that. also because of the voice of course.
@smackos: yes, that stuff is superb..
"the hacker" have been the score to my bus rides to school in the early nineties. awesome stuff.

My favourite is Sound Mirror track. And I totally agree - that The Future tapes are the shit!

according to discogs : Mail order version of the cassette included a 10 page booklet containing images and words.

the tape came out long b4 the album while Industrial records were still operating, as CV brought the dva guys along,
after the demise of TG, Genesis did a three record repress deal with Expanded in Italy and sold the the DVA
album as well, they are much the muchness btw (and being heavily into CV I always thought you can really
hear their influence there especialy on Anti Chance)
the follow ups weren't that great imo (with the exeption of on track on the thirst lp), and it wasnt untill Adi
got the group going again in 88 (Act, Hacker and Buried dream which was their finest imo) that it all came together
BUT
if you realy want to hear his mid 80's stuff you need the check out the Anti Group as this was his better output imo
the 2 meontological albums are some of the best scary ambient stuff ever made, the Berlin Atonal is on my top
live records of all time fusing real sax with dark electronix in a way that was unheard prior to that. and Broadcast
Test has a hint of the kind of minimal that you hear today

anyone know what the sample (guy talking) in sonology of sex (2?) is from? I thought I read it was from Copolla's The Conversation but I definitely don't remember hearing that.

The sonology of sex sample is from the movie Klute from 1971 with Jane Fonda and Donald Sutherland
