that was nice of her. if it was intentional... hmm

Re: getting wax off records?

candles are for stupid hippies. hate that shit, gets spilled all over and not always possible to remove without a trace.

not sure if i'd go anywhere near the record with an electric iron...

i heard it once... similar story,
what i heard should work is, boil her blood and scrub the record with it. (i hope that you kept the body, cause for sure you got mad at her) wink

well no for real, try with warm water (not too hot) and a very gentle cloth.

good luck

Re: getting wax off records?

I heard once about the wood glue technique for taking stuff out of vinyl grooves.

basically pour wood glue all over your vinyl, wait til it hardens and lift therefore lifting everything in its wake.

I hold no responsibility for this going wrong but ive heard it works quite well. Ive never had anything stuck on vinyl that I cant get off with a regular cleaner so Ive never had to use this technique

hmmm dont know about this man, cause the heat thats hot enough to melt away the candle willl surely be hot enough to fuck the vinyl... im not sure, but I wouldve thought so.

Re: getting wax off records?

just look how the others watched the act...don't think it was an accident ( she seems enjoyed it)
