A Hauntology track juxtaposing archival footage of the attempted military coup on February 23, 1981 in Spain (commonly referred to as 23-F) and a decontextualized radio snippet from earlier this year from an interview about the issue of Catalan independence

Right as Spain was on the cusp of confirming new Prime Minister Calvo-Sotelo, a group of 200 Guardia Civil assaulted the Spanish parliament in session led by Antonio Tejero who brandished a pistol and fired several shots in the air to subdue protests from Vice President Gutierréz Mellado. Pedro Martin, camera operator for spanish television, left the camera running capturing riveting images of the event.

The coup failed after a night's stand off (during that time parliament was held hostage), the king made an announcement appealing to calm and the respect of the constitution (reading between lines it meant he did not support the coup). However the brains behind the 23-F has never been identified and is only known as The White Elephant, several theories exist as to his/her identity.
