the youtube sound is godawful, though its handy if you don't want to use filesharing. as bias says, use slsk. only use discoparadise if you wanna rock the internet like its 1998.

LOL me too, but it was always better then this other guy (I don't remember who) that upload italo sampling soft porn stuff and looping it and doing strange stuff with it...

yes, quality sucked, the jimi too, but hey, it was so handy, just type the name, and most certainly italogod uploaded it.

yes, one should do his home work first. It got really too easy. I think. No more diggin, no more wasting hours in dirty basements. No more listening infinite amounts of records to find a good one. You can even check others italo playlists so to know all in one shot. And records that are shitty, will remain shitty, not super hyped only because are rare. Like the roby rotondo for example. And of course prices up to the sky. That is what italo on youtube is.

well, yes, I like to play stuff that no one knows. Isn't it very nice when you are dancing in a club and all of a sudden you hear something you never heard before? Instead of, ah yes, this is karl olivas, I've listen to it 300 times on youtube.

i wish it was still obscure instead of listening to 22 year old twats in my local pub telling anyone bored enough to listen how the music died in 1984 (2 years before they were born!)
one of em even asked if they could wav my records cause she had a big italo gig coming up and nothing to play
and don't get me started on the flock of seagulls hairdos, it was never fucking cool in the first place you arseholes

at first it's fun to recognize a few favorite tunes when out dancing, but it's always more fun to be blown away by a track i've never heard before
and yeah, youtube adn internetfora have remove some of the charm and excitement of finding that amazing track. there's just so much knowledge out there publicly now. before you kinda had to know some older people in the scene to get that knowledge, now just an internet connection
that said, i've been able to identify so many tracks i'd heard and loved but never knew what it was thanks to the internets. It's not like it's a development that's reversable, kinda like globalization, so might as well make use of it
