I wasn't there but I think on this one he alternates between records and live stuff, probably uses the time the record plays to setup the next sequences on the gear, etc. If you have the records for some of these you can tell they're pretty different and have a more improv feel to them on this mix, which is cool. Agreed, all tracks are sweet!
