Re: pandemia

paranoia, yes
we need diseases to be strong. The planet is full of virus and bacteria, we have to live with...or die!

Re: pandemia

what i love with such viruses, is that the price of the animal concerned (here the pig) will go super low for a period.
Viva mad cow, bird flew and horse fever !

Re: pandemia

cheap bacon, excellent smile

Re: pandemia

Another good reason to go vegetarian.

Re: pandemia

Hmm I'm afraid being vegetarian won't change anything .. Aero-contamination is the game ..

Re: pandemia

I started World War Z last week...such great timing!

Re: pandemia

paranoia? Survival of the fittest ?
Just imagine to loose 1/4 of family & friends

Re: pandemia

The mortality rate is actually less than 5%. But that's still 1/20. That's a lot of friends that would go sad

Re: pandemia

Here's a google maps thingy where  you can track the reported cases worldwide.

Pink markers are suspect
Purple markers are confirmed
Deaths lack a dot in marker
Yellow markers are negative

Re: pandemia

blah blah we can quote stuff on both sides of that argument (yours being speciesism) , but being vegetarian would help fend off problems like this in the eventual future.. i was just defending the person that said that.

Re: pandemia

Still love pigs big_smile

Re: pandemia

Please don't turn this into some topic about how we are made to eat meat or bashing vegetarians/vegans something, it has nothing to do w/ the swine flu. This has been a topic on this forum on cbs before as well as many other forums and the argument doesn't go anywhere.
