Also from the Great Pharoah Sanders, but this time teaming with Alice Coltrane, there's Journey in Satchidananda. But if you're looking for something to blow your mind into millions of pieces, you should check the album Infinity, by John Coltrane.
the sax solo in diego - walk in the night, converted me

There are many, except for anything with Candy Dulfer or fuckin' Kenny G...
Here's one:

2nd best italo-sax (after Diego)

cool video too
simple_CPU: the obvious example is tina turner - whats love got to do with it. it set the standard for synth-harmonica solos in years to come.

from 02.43
how about sampled sax. as in many a 'MK' production...
The ratsnake demo contest track. Awesome sax solo.
Kiem - The Moneyman http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GW1_2CDz … re=related
Kiem - Short Memories http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68uPpvPz4uY
Guru Josh - Infinity http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNlDczS4YK4
Men At Work - Overkill http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lcu7OCIqlqE (not sure if it's a sax though)
it's not a favourite sax solo, but kind of nice and moody, kid frost - la raza

Kissing the Pink - big man restless.
Circuit 7 - Video Boys has a blazin' sax solo.. And Stereo - Somewhere in the Night
I hate it in both
Men At Work - Overkill http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lcu7OCIqlqE (not sure if it's a sax though)
a favorite guitar solo from childhood

...and yet you haven't mentioned the best example of that DX7 harmonica sound - Chaka Khan's cover of Prince's 'I Feel For You'. Astounding solo, that!
Suprized me a little bit no one came up with this one yet;
Anne Clark - Our darkness

Another surprise...New Order - Blue Monday
and
Yello - The Race

Because the sax solo ruins the whole song.
By the way, where is the sax solo in Blue Monday ?
I like your Kiem suggestion a lot! A lot of saxophone in there, but a saxophone is hard to find in blue monday

I thought it was a saxophone in Blue Monday but it could come out of box, if you know what I mean.
Yeah, I love Kiem. I can really recommend their album Keam. It has moneyman, short memories and Clear It Up which almost sounds like some sailorsong => http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8Ja9XIjbw0
And what about that selfmade drumkit played by Cees "IJzermans" Meurs (IJzerman = Ironman).
Actually I like the first Kiem album best, it's more raw. The (steenkolen) english singing by Huub Kentie is onforgettable too!
Seen quite some gigs of them too, at that time. The opening of Cafe de Unie had Kiem inna truck driving up and down the Mauritsweg, passing the Bootleg (that didn't existed at that time ofcourse)

Oh, cool you saw them perform back then! I can remember seeing them on TV. Don't know their first album except the single It's Working. I could give it a try.
Rolling Stones - Waiting on a friend
