Jeez just remembered me and my brother were reminiscing on our sega days when i saw him and he sais he came up with theyre uk advertising slogan in a competition, To be this good takes AGES, to be this good takes SEGA.
I do remember we entered lots of competitions back then and he was a bright boy but bloody hell if so man he is due some money, unless theyre was no prize and the terms and conditions said you get no royalties nothing. I think he sais our mum tried contacting them to no avail.

from what i can tell, no. if its anything like the older nintendo systems, the lockout is purely physical (the shape of the cartridges.) buying a 3rd party converter would let you play games on the consoles.
