BUY FROM THIS GUY AND LOSE YOUR MONEY !!! Had to open a paypal dispute to get my money back for a never received package. Seller hardly communicated, let alone cooperated. Paypal decided I was right, but account was already emptied so money is gone sad

always found that seller suspicious

yes, he didn't have a high percentage of bad feedback, but with that amount of orders it's actually a lot of orders that went wrong! looks like he just can't handle it and starts hiding whenever something goes wrong, what a loser

Re: Report bad sellers on internet.

wtf, regarding "dancerecords-net"...
check this, looks like he's also involved in porn... shadyshadyshady!
http://www.tuneid.com/general-chat/4575 … erdam.html

Real name = Frank Van Diejen
Postbus 10179
Amsterdam, , 1001 ED NL

he'll probably uses other aliases too, be warned whenever you deal with this guy!

found more suspicious things:

http://www.discogs.nl/ > links to sites owned by the same guy !!!

Re: Report bad sellers on internet.

^ that really sucks... as mentioned on that tuneid link, this is the same guy http://www.discogs.com/user/frank3x
Did you already report him to marketplace? I'm amazed his account is still active after so many bad transactions.

Re: Report bad sellers on internet.

yes i reported him
why do you think that frank3x is the same guy?

For a start, both their names are Frank and are from Amsterdam.

But more seriously, if you look at nearly every item listed for sale by frank3x, it's also listed for sale at the same price (in a different currency) by dancerecords-net.
You can decide for yourself if it's just coincidence:

Re: Report bad sellers on internet.

Re: Report bad sellers on internet.

not exactly a bad seller per se, but once again, discostoria has sent me an overgraded (as per his ebay listing) record. did i mention: again? yep. again. so here's an advice: if you buy from discostoria on ebay always expect the record to be one or two grades lower than his item description.

Re: Report bad sellers on internet.

most (italo) sellers overgrade records
they hide behind their saying that they grade the records visually.
hmm if you're a seller and making big bucks selling, buy a simple, cheap turntable
so that you can grade proper..

just my point of view

Re: Report bad sellers on internet.

Don't be affraid to make a paypal claim with that guy, and ask for more than you should ask: everytime I negociate with that guy, he was always bargainning, like in Marrakech souk, even on a previous agreed deal. This guy knows no rest for earning one more euro on a three digits order....
And off course, 2 over 3 records are overgraded in his shop

Re: Report bad sellers on internet.

of course they're all overgrading.

but even visually grading, the record i got from him this time is nowhere near the "EX" he writes it to be... maybe i should just stop buying from him. stupid fucking consumer that i am.

Re: Report bad sellers on internet.

no, more like stupid fucking vinyl junkie that i am. going back to the same dealer that gave me dope cut with rat poison last time around.

Yeah, that's annoying and deiceiving. A record can look NM but can have crackle and have ticks in the sound despite of that. The work some sellers do to sell their stuff (add photos, do webdesign all "toeters en bellen" etc.) and still only visual grading (?).
For instance this seller on e-bay ilabig64 even has samples of most of what he's selling but still only visual grading....suspicious.

my worst experience was some years ago a JOJO mind games from 000toro:
he said: ex
reality: vg
i mean a cheap record, no problem.
but if you know about the value of a record you should check more carefully

i hate soccer

Re: Report bad sellers on internet.

I've had a lot of over-graded records in the past week or two...
If you get it for an ok price is it really worth making the fuss over a few dollars refund or the headache of leaving negative? I don't know anymore.

"EX" from Italy is always a big lie btw.

Re: Report bad sellers on internet.

hysteric wrote:

well, what do you expect from a country run by thugs and the mafia?

like, even though berlusconi tries hard to make himself look NM, in reality he is G- at best. even though the majority of italian voters won't see that.

Re: Report bad sellers on internet.

typical overgrading from italy:

cover nm?

Just received an record I bought from greyhead

Slicker than a harpooned hippo on a banana tree.

haven't we all been there before?

sellers should be required to take classes in proper record grading in order to obtain a license to sell vinyl.

problem is also discogs doesn't give a flying fuck and neither does ebay or paypal. they only care about their cut of the deal (fees).

Re: Report bad sellers on internet.

there should also be a new topic called:

REPORT BAD BUYERS ON THE INTERNET

you remember my last auctions at ebay in dezember?
i had two days when my records ended.
on the first day i saw that one buyer with zero feedback was bidding on some records.
i asked him via mail whats up and that i am a bit afraid.
his answer:
"dont be afraid, i am trustworthy. my name is mathias bouariz from paris, i am the brother of JOAKIM and i am running TIGERSUSHI records..."
ok i thought, i checked his name and all was right - facebook, myspace account, even the adress he gave me in paris and his phone number.
normally i do not check all auctions when they are ending, and this time i had no time (short before christmas).
what happened:
probably he used a sniper program, he was always bidding in the last seconds - and he won 34 of 75 records...
total amount: 1200 USD!
next day his account was suspended.
he dropped me a line:
"bla bla bla... not my fault, i will pay or sure send me a paypal invoice..."
i did this and indeed there was a payment - but only pending (bank transfer).
paypal told me to wait, money would be on your account from now on at least in 10 days.
after 5 days he dropped me another line:
"no worry, money should be on my account in 12 days..."
exactly after 14 days the payment was cancelled.
what an asshole.
with all that "wait, wait, i will pay for sure" he stole me any chance to offer the records to another person...
maybe his strategy was to manipulate me to send out before payment was fixed, i dont know...
so half of my work was destroyed...

so what to do?

watch out for this records again at ebay soon.

and fuck TIGERSUSHI and the stupid french arrogant people...

i hate soccer

Re: Report bad sellers on internet.

Absolutely.  This is why (if possible) you pay with your credit card.  Then, if the seller tries to screw you, you file a chargeback, and you'll get your money back.  You might have to write up some paperwork for the credit card company, but it's better than losing the money!
