Topic: Fave soft synths...

i love the Yamaha CS80-v! thats all..i do...what is your bestest soft synth?
Also anyone know of any good new, non hardware emulation synths that are good?

I have been digging Thor in Reason lately. It isn't a direct emulation of any one hardware synth but some sections of it like filters and stuff are modeled after certain hardware counterparts. Lots of sections and routing options on that one to get a WIDE variety of sounds. It even has a step-sequencer which is pretty nifty.

Some of Reaktor's stuff keeps me busy cause that shit is off the wall.

Do it your way, because everyone else is just weird.

I like Buzz Instruments (they sound raw) and mda JX10 (it's a one trick pony but featherweight on cpu).

FM7 has some nice sounds and pleasing interface.
