Re: New COCKpits & GearPics

Cozy setup Tony. Just enough room to bust a move if inspired by the beats. wink

Do it your way, because everyone else is just weird.

Re: New COCKpits & GearPics

but be careful or you might end up in a scramble to save a tumbling cs-5  tongue
nice mini mic stand for the bots!

Re: New COCKpits & GearPics

I've been using that mic stand since I was 5, doing many straight-to-cassette radio shows wink

Everything is secure in the studio, I can thrash around if I want!

Re: New COCKpits & GearPics

you should get some speaker stands...  smile

Re: New COCKpits & GearPics

Very cool setup elektrovolt!!

what are the mods on the Jupiter?
memory banks?

Re: New COCKpits & GearPics

yes, it is a memory expansion. inside there is a cv and gate input box, poorly built. one day I will remove it, and will put a midi kit inside.

and one more recent picture wink

Re: New COCKpits & GearPics

Just curious, how many extra banks do you have in there?
I'm thinking of doing that too, since I got MIDI on it I've been using it a lot.

Re: New COCKpits & GearPics

there are 8 banks, so there are 64 preset spaces. I do not know where to buy this expansion, as it was already in there when I bought it. looking for a good  midi kit. any ideas ? or maybe startingg a new jupiter-4 topic smile

Re: New COCKpits & GearPics

This is the one I have :
http://www.chd-el.cz/index.php?id=403
It's 85 euros.

Kenton makes one but its's 275 pounds
http://www.kentonuk.com/kenton/retrofit … p4-rk.html

The choice was easy for me because of the price, it ended up costing me 400$ CAD total for the kit, install and full restauration and calibration of the synth by my tech, it was worth it!

Re: New COCKpits & GearPics

Love the hurdy-gurdy...is that a MIDI controller? lol
Only kidding!

Re: New COCKpits & GearPics

i'd like to consult about my studio, i want to change few things and would like to hear some other opinions.

studio size is 3.2 X 2M, right now it looks like this:
http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s258/muledriver/studiosketch.jpg
http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s258/muledriver/18122008152036.jpg
http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s258/muledriver/18122008152124.jpg
first thing i want to do is to turn it 90

Re: New COCKpits & GearPics

first thing you should do is wipe the dust of that synth tongue

Re: New COCKpits & GearPics

it's only the ms2000 which is dusty...
i have to cover everything here while not in use, it so dusty here. and the cover of the korg was too colorful i couldn't concentrate, so i took it off few days ago and didn't find something less annoying big_smile
well, that's stupid story,:D

Re: New COCKpits & GearPics

Personally I have decided to have the monitors on the "short" side, so that I have my keyboards on the left, the
rack instruments on the right and the mixing console in the middle... I am then going next year to build some bass
traps (SneakThief method TM) to reduce the bouncyness, which is already quite good (especially because I never
raise the volume very much, at least while I am not mixing)...
