Thought I'd start a thread for robots favourite artist and record label logos.

I'm a fan of the Speed Records blob character, running around with his record in the air without a care in the world.

hey, that's funny... mick and me were just talking about the danica logo this afternoon.
we were both wondering about the owl that is sitting on sheep... really would like to know what it stands for.
do you have any idea?

I dunno its just an owl on a sheep and its awesome big_smile

Somehow I remember different versions of it where they are also dancing but that might by my imagination (with little music notes around it on the sleeves or something but maybe not)

I like that it has little legs, it is a sheep right? (Not some strange poodle)

I remember chatting with the guy who designed the Aphex Twin logo, he runs Prototype 21 and now does Terratag too.
He was involved in other logos, like the Global Communications "GC" and designed some sleeves for Planet Mu (specifically those terrible Frost Jockey EPs.)

He told me that he designed the Aphex Twin logo, I think the SAW II text too, as a evolving logo. I think it was going to take on roughly twelve forms, where the end result would resemble nothing of the original. But, for one reason or another it never happened and the logo stuck.
