The Hague , 1998.
DJ Overdose and Mr Pauli are sitting on the couch doing nothing.
Looking at a room full of gear.
It takes a lot of pizza and smokeables to come to the conclusion it could be fun to actually use the gear.
So they start pushing buttons, turning knobs and sliding sliders like never before.
Resulting in electro music.
Now they need a name.
But lucky for them they don't have to think hard.
The television set, their only link to the outside world, dictates they shall be called NOVAMEN.
At first Extranova is Supernova , but when he sings "this is Supernova and Extranova..."
on their first big hit "Try To Be A Novamen" courtesy rules he can't be Supernova anymore.
So from then on Supernova is Extranova, and Extranova is Supernova.
There's two other Novamen lurking around down town The Hague;
Sulphurnova and the Interr-Fering nova.
Both being very important figures to the NOVAMEN.
Creative wise regarding the first two EP's, but also business wise as they lend their
MURDERCAPITAL, BUNKER and VIEWLEXX labels for NOVAMEN music.
In 2006 NOVAMEN become Spanish for a while, incarnate as 'Los Hombres Nova'
and release their award winning 'Vamos A La Haya EP' on the Spanish O.S.T label.
But when they play the Spanish Monegros Desert Festival where the temperature never falls below 40
