yes absolutely, it's a more New York house sound. But I thought it wouldn't mind putting them in here...  At the end New York & Chicago had strong links during those days..

Well, Chicago wasn't only Ronny in his Box, there where also some smoother clubs. That "Subject - Celebrate" for exemple was from New York, you hear that very easily, but still do I remember it only from Knuckles mixes in Chicago smile

Knuckles's stuff he played in clubs was more smooth & elegant. Probably with a touch of his New York past in it I guess..

Real gold cannot be seen or even touched, it has to be listened & felt with the heart..

nice one ytz, i thought this topic got lost with the upgrade whenever that was, prussel and most complicated robot have posted a huge tune each in here.

i still think boo williams' 'hometown chicago' lp is massively underated, although discogs prices beg to differ (in fact there's none left)

speaking of underated, this record will cost you £2, chicago underground council, a long treasured fave of mine, sorry there's no clips anywhere
