Than they really must be doing it out of love if that's all they gain from it.
it's eazy don't buy it good and real pressings are also coming up of some of these tracks
and then you support the artists and the labels that are really in it for the love of music
it's about the quality
@interfunk
your other labels are much much much much more better and stand for quality

oh you got info from the vault on a official Sensitive repress ?
Interfunk won't reply anyway
the only guy that is proud of making bootleg is hardrock striker, but nobody sue him, so you can get out of the wood mr Funk, no one cares apparently
Anyway, there's other guys somewhere that now does exact replica (better call it ersatz) of records (latest one is Cellophane - Music Colors), so in a way, Safety copy are not the worst...

no that is a lot of money nowadays with vinyl trust me
Then why would the artist care?
I got lured into buying SC 004 ... I have 128 kb/s mp3s that sounds WAY better.
Shouldn't some of the blame for the proliferation of shitty bootlegs fall on the record shops that carry them?
some of the blame
ALL the blame is on the person putting this shit into production.
and all the responsibility is on you whether or not to support it.
edit: by you i mean us consumerists

I wouldn't say ALL, cause without distribution I would have no way of buying it.
in business, if it sells then all is well.
Oh no doubt...
But for those who feel ripped off (myself included), I suggest directing some of your anger at the people who sold it to you...not like it matters.
consumer awareness is paramount. i was tempted to buy safety copies also but from the responses observed decided against. i've bought other crappy boots though which i regret. had i listened to these in store then there is no way i would have bought. online buying is always going to be risky for this reason.
yea but often the ogs are 100s so who cares really? and its not like you cant work out if its a bootleg or not.
to me it doesnt matter anyway, its not as if one day there will only be bootlegs around.
i get it if you buy an og for a lot and it turns out to be a boot, i'd be pissed off, but if its azoto brand new in a shop, its obviously a bootleg.
another thing, if i'm playing records the quality of the presses/ mixes varies a lot throughout the mix, wether its bootleg or not, thats just how it is, not every og press sounds perfect.
and david what about lord of the cock rings? it says its written by vunk and tyrell? what about credits there? or its just not written on the label?

you mean eagles end? c'mon that just a melody/loop that's something completely different then a whole track

no i mean the a side lord of the cockrings.
and yea b side i know what you mean, but still, if its JUST a loop, then why say it was written by you, when its not really, and then say to buy not from those guys but to buy from these guys. i think its all a bit funny
edit, i like to add the moustache is a nice record regardless, and the sound is fine too

i smell a lot of recycling in here
nice new Safety Copy I think.
In a world full of crappy edits and dubious LP reissues the safety copies are gold. I don`t like the shit talk about original artists and bla bla. I mean they sit in wheelchairs now but had a good time 25 years ago with girls, alcohol, drugs and party, sometimes sold more than 10000 copies. So who cares about these bootlegs/300 copies (does someone care how a little label feels like if the release is for free DL after some days - no)? I am over the point of anger about all this... if someone thinks it is a money making business it is his own problem, because it is stupid to think this way. and maybe it is just poor to re-release, even the majors do. So what? Enjoy my copy with some nice tracks...
order your copy for a fair price now: Juno, Clone, Flexx or Decks.... :D
new safety copy is most def worth a try
only for sensitive - driving.. a 400+ record nowadays
@ black shape don't know og from lord of the cockrings
@ captain word on that
yea right. im not buying to support labels anyway, im buying it as its nice songs. thats all that matters to me.

i have no problem with boots as long as they don't sound like they are being played through a kazoo. maybe they should be called "kazoo kopy"
@ black shape don't know og from lord of the cockrings

true and it's THAT simple in the end: many people can't afford the original so why not buy a bootleg then so we can play that song too in mixes? Zo gaat dat.
