i am staying abroad for two weeks so i don't really now what is going on around then, but maybe try one of these suggestions:

the pardies garage party on NYE sounds kinda fun, it's a one of thing it seems,
the walcheturm party is minimal

There is also a dosci party in the zukunft club where they play disco music, maybe even italo

for bars i like bar 63, and for later bombay bar which is chronically to full, but has cheap drinks and sometimes even good dance music

all these are quite close together in kreis 4 and 5, but sights are more in the city kreis 1 if you want to go for sight seeing.
