Topic: Polymoog emulation on a VSTi

It's been 18 hours since I saw Gary Numan play in Leeds, and I can't shake off preset one from the Polymoog out of my ears (otherwise known as 'Vox Humana'). It's amazing to think that 30+ years on, it's still the one string sound to beat IMO!

Question is, has anyone of you robots out there ever found a VSTi that comes close to replicating the 'Vox Humana' preset. I'd really love to know before my brain turns into mush running 'Down In The Park' once again...

Re: Polymoog emulation on a VSTi

does numan still use the polymoog live on stage? or does it come from a laptop now?

i guess technically what should come the closest as there's no polymoog vsti, would be the moog modular.. you could technically build a polymoog in there and play it polyphonically.. or maybe some of the cs80 sounds would also come close..

Re: Polymoog emulation on a VSTi

minimoog vst, minimonsta vst are both polyphonic, i think i saw it in there in one of these.

@ rude66: No...I saw a Virus, a Alesis Quadrasynth and a Nord Lead, and I'm sure he was using a laptop.
