saw them all in their early days except sleep..but i did see soundgarden on their first tour.. always liked primus because of the humour in their shows.. such a funny band, they dont seem to take themselves too seriously  and at the same time play this stuff so effortless.. same thing i love about bands like nomeansno..

Re: Heavy Metal

I wish I saw Soundgarden...

I love the early ones but for some weird reason this is probably my favorite Death song, although I would have preferred chuck to sing on a lower pitch like on the earlier albums. this one seems so charged with anger, he seems to know about his imminent departure... to you I am past, a story to tell, tell it!
lol, this is  rant I could have had when I was 18!

Re: Heavy Metal

oh... and another great one... not sure if it was in the thread already

Re: Heavy Metal

Guys.  listen.  I was just surfing the arpanet and i heard that dude from sepultura is making electro funk! g whiz!

Re: Heavy Metal

you know what else?  i was in play de record (local record shop here in toronto) at a marco polo lecture and a dude came in, right in the middle of the lecture looking for hardcore dark metal.  I am serious.   everyone laughed.... and I being into dnb and stuff, start yelling "metalheadz, metalheadz" in a uk accent. i felt like a geek and i don;t think anyone really understood.

is dnb an evolution of merging metal and electro?  kind of in my opinion.  I never really connected the two, until this thread.

Re: Heavy Metal

for greater clarity, dnb is a accronym for drum and bass.
