Did you fix something with gaffa/duct tape? Or maybe you've seen something else amazing done by the awesomeness of gaffa? Post it here.
I'll start out with this amazing story
in short: pilot gets his plane destroyed by a hungry bear. Radios for help, asks a pilot colleage to fly over with spare tires and some gaffa, patches the plane up and flyes the motherfucker home!
So never leave home without a roll of gaffertape! 
Hehe, MacGyver style.
I doubt one roll of tape was enough to fix an airplane though.
It looks he used some metres of gaffa.
I like the discrete way he wrote the ID-number on the side of the plane.
It's almost not visible.
Also: What about the rifle holster mounted under the wing, is he flying with it that way or is it just a way to have the gun ready when taping the plane together in case the hungry bear comes back?
Check out the background of the second picture, are those carcasses?

he used three cases of gaffa. Must have added quite a bit to the overall weight of the plane.
I would have thought the robots were happy gaffa enthusiasts, but I guess it's just me that fixes everything with it?
on the contrary. i think anyone who ever set foot on a stage, knows the power of gaffa tape. only reason i neverbring my own is that wherever we play, usually has a roll available. superb to tape loose cables to things, rack gear together, racks to a table, etc etc. i love the stuff..
yeah, that was my thought too, but so far this thread is going nowhere

i used gaffa tape to hang paintings for a show i had once, dunno if i can find any pictures though

I worked for dutch research (TNO) and all we used all day was gaffa tape. I think that 99% of the experiments couldn't be done without the miracle tape. We used a few roles every day! I once taped up an entire room to make a "clean room".
hmmmm... is that art? or graffiti?
techni: I really tried to find something better than that plane story, but its danm hard.
