downloading this one. I think DJ Premeire and the Guru were a different style of rap that came along at the right time. I remember buying the tape "no more mr. nice guy" back in 89 and the other that came out in 91 "step into the arena" was even better than "no-mo mr. N.G"

For real. Dude totally flipped the beats man. I liked that he threw in crazy/synthetic/unrecognizable sounds. While many looked for Jazz/Funk/Soul samples he'd find/make some crazy-ass sound and make it ROCK. Like on Jeru's verse on Speak Ya Clout (Hard to Earn). That shit is just bananas.
