Robots for Robots → Random media → Comedy Movies
It's gotten to the point where these are like the only movies I can enjoy with my friends, but there's just so much shit out there! I generally hate Will Ferrell, Jack Black, Adam Sandler... etc.
Can you guys recommend some?
I'll start with this:
Waiting: www.waitingthefilm.com It's hilarious. 40 year old virgin's good. Even if you don't like Will Ferrell Anchorman's hilarious. Superbad and Pineapple express as well. Knocked Up's okay as well. 
i like wacky, slap-stick type stuff. Some off the top of my head:
older woody allen flicks from the late 60s, early 70s, like Bananas and Love and Death.
also peter sellers, esp. The Party - theres some wacky mad-capped fun right there.
The Jerk - probably better than The Godfather. funnier at least.

yeah mel brooks, especially young frankenstein and blazing saddles, must've seen those a couple hundred times 
ah Blazing Saddles is a fucking classic!!

Such a good dark comedy, I like most of Todd Solondz's movies but that one is probably the best.
The Police Academy movies must get a mention as well, Bobcat Goldwaith's character Zed is an inspiration for life.
mike judge movies like office space and idiocracy are accurate portrayals of the present and future
guy's it'a ALL about 
I think I've seen that like 200 times minimum, cracks me up no matter how tired or serious I am!
all four python movies are the hog's tits

and happiness is not not funny.
Solondz is good, but I enjoy Wes Andersons stuff more. And..
