Topic: Rotterdam

well, probably interesting for some of us:
any advices for (cheap) accommodations? best would be close to mauritsweg, but whatever.

Re: Rotterdam

check out the 'stay okay' hostel, it's cheap but good and close to the mauritsweg

Slicker than a harpooned hippo on a banana tree.

Re: Rotterdam

I stayed at that hostel before.  It was ok, but I never tend to have anything in common with people I bunk with.  They travel to another country, and then immediately stay indoors and smoke up.

Re: Rotterdam

any other recommendations for Rotterdam? record shops, hostels (although that one looks no too shabby) and that...

now that i'm coming in September..

Diergaarde Blijdorp is pretty sweet too.

In de disco draait de deejay
De hele nacht discomuziek
Waardoor er in de harten van het publiek
Een verlangen ontstaat naar sex en romantiek

Re: Rotterdam

Thank you Starborough !

And it will be nice to you again !

Nou, kan ik met je nederlands spreken want ik ga naar de Nederlands Instituut in Pareisj en ik heb les.

Re: Rotterdam

I did manage to find a good falafel place. It was called Maoz Vegetarian and it was by the Hilton.

Nice salad bar. They had other pita sandwiches too, hummus, avocado, eggplant, ect...

Highly recommended, though it closes early on weekends.

Re: Rotterdam

I want to spent a weekend with a friend in Rotterdam, to check out the city and visit some nice museums. I'd like to stay in a hotel where we can enjoy the skyline at night. Any Rotterdam bots who got good ideas where to stay?

Re: Rotterdam

We're heading back over to Rotterdam for the IFM party on 26th December, flying into Amsterdam Schipol arriving late afternoon, do any robots know if we'll be able to take a train to Rotterdam as we usually do, or any other suggestions to get to Rotterdam? Looking forward to catching up with some of you robots there big_smile
