what sites can you recommend to search for job offers?

Re: Working in UK

tonnes of chances. my last job i sat beside a polak from toren. php and linux were his skills.
we keep in contact and he is still doing well. i can foward his email to you if you want? he can tell you all about it.

the biggest and best job sites are jobsite.co.uk and jobserve.co.uk
you can find permanant and contract work from both. contract pays alot more but is shorter term.
right now the economy is recovering from the credit crunch but there is still alot of IT work in London
can't really comment on the rest of the country though

Re: Working in UK

if you have skills that are applicable in the construction industry then you have to be an immigrant from eastern europe. might help in the hard times.

Re: Working in UK

I can save you time, labor, and money by just removing part of your vinyl and all that for free.

Re: Working in UK

Bots,
I am reloading this topic because I have a friend in London that is looking for a job - she is currently a waitress at a restaurant but was just a temporary job.

She'd like to stay in London, so no other fancy places across the UK like Cambridge, Edinburgh or anywhere else.
She is up for any decent job, so not only in restaurants or bar, also babysitting and the like.

If any of you know about some place who is looking for a person, please let me know and I'll forward her the details.

thanks,
a.
