Yeah- I got mine at Echigoya for 4,700 Yen (around $500) in mint condition.
That was around 2 years ago though. All I know is that nobody wanted them when I was living there.

Nice, I've been wanting to go to Japan for a while already :-)

A friend of mine visited the shops over there and found one with loads of 80's roland gear for sale, I think it'll be the one you're referring to.

In the mean time I bought a Nord modular from a guy living a bit closer and I'm really pleased with the sounds I've managed to pull out of it already. The standard patches are not that impressive but it can do quite moogish basses. Well, you'll be hearing more tracks from me in a short while! :-)

Just record it already!
