The forth installment of the Face Your Fate sessions at The Tanners Arms continues the Glasgow connection with electro/techno duo Fancy&Spook performing live in the confines of Newcastle's finest drinking establishment.
A brace of releases on underground Glasgow label Heatray and two tracks on the Long Slow Heat Death EP on Tabernacle Records has seen them expand from Detroit influenced electro/techno and move closer to home wit...h British Bleeps and bass coming to the floor.
They specialise in live performance, taking as much of their analogue gear as they can carry and an MPC full of home-made loops with them to thoroughly road-test their sound.
Able support will be given with Face Your Fate DJs Il Fratelli providing a sutiable soundtrack for the uninstructed.
Seeing as this will be a Bank Holiday (due to some upper class matrimony) we'll be topping our cloth caps and laying it down till way past midnight with a late license
Let's show the gentry what we're made of and give the Clydeside duo a reet good party.
