organ on the cheap

my wee cousin is into playing organ.  ideally he'd be looking at a nord c1/c2 but on his student budget thats not going to happen any time soon.
anything to recommend for a budget setup?  older electrical organs come up in the local ads pretty cheap now and again but something lighter and portable would be better.
I guess a mixture or rhodes and hammond sound would be good.  maybe a laptop with some kind of midi dual keyboard and pedal board controller? I'm not familiar with any stuff like that though and the taurus is not an option
