There are probably money-reasons involved but c'mon 50 copies (!!!!): you could give a copy to family and friends and there's maybe 40 copies left for "commercial" (if you can still commercial with these amounts) purposes. Smells like elite-acid... This way people are forced to go digital, don't you think?

No, but I just did. Was this record also that expensive (couldn't check)?

When I pushed the buy/listen-button I read that it's already sold out. And then I listened to the clip: it's good acid but not revolutionary or anything (doesn't try to be also I think). That's what I'm always thinking with the acid made these days, If you heard acid when it was new, what's more to add now when it's old? Or is just for the people who can't get enough or something (I guess so...).

true but I agree on the elite acid thing. We can have a discussion about this of 78 pages, the conclusion will always be the same: it's pure elitarism and a lot of people will be disappointed because they weren't fast enough to get a copy + seeing this record on discogs for silly prices is only a matter of days. What's the use of putting out music to dance to when we never hear it on a party?

i wasn't comparing, just pointing out.. 12 pounds is not much indeed.. i'm not complaining here

I was away from the forum for quite some time, then I came back for some reason, a record to sell or trade, and chacking if this release is out or not, yet. And what do I see, to my great surprise, nothing has changed, same discussion as always. If this is acceptable or not, if a 50 copies run is right or wrong, if prices are right or not, as if labels should come here and ask you guys how many copies do they have to press to encounter your favors, and discussions that go for pages, mind you.

And yet, I go to the mix part of the forum, and I see so many uploading mixes to listen to, and no comments, mostly  you read zero next to the topic, only when big names pop up then yes, everybody on tracklist hunting. So much good music that we might not have heard yet is played by unknown people too, but hey, we don't know them, what we like is to complain that nobody ask us how many copy should they release.

Now, who are the elitist here?
It's sad.
