Topic: The roots of Goa-Trance - also ITALO was involved

Some might remember that i was also into Goa-Trance many years (meanwhile i have quit that completely since the whole genre turned too bad).

Now i found this very interesting article with an amazing "Tribute-Mix"

Wow, this legendary guy Laurent played a lot of cool stuff on the beaches in Goa back in the days ...

With tapedecks, editing and stuff ...

also Sandy Marton ...

Check it out here:

Funny to hear Laserdance - Humanoid Invasion sooooooo sloooooow. Not used to that. big_smile

Interesting for sure. Shame that saying "trance" leaves such a bad taste in your mouth nowadays....while, listening to this, it really shouldn't.

Re: The roots of Goa-Trance - also ITALO was involved

yeah, i think i lost most of my friends by posting this to facebook. who cares, this shit rocks

Re: The roots of Goa-Trance - also ITALO was involved

think I will grab this one for my room mate, he's very much into that goa stuff. Nothing in it for me but these party's are pretty cool I have to admit and they mostly have chill out rooms, which is a good thing.
If I'm right, there are two "styles" in goa: psychedelic and dark (the latter being very hard, almost like tekno), is this correct dolcevita?
