Larry, your rep is crumbling.
Listen to the Bas more...the man is as wise as a Jedi.

Re: Kinski was a loony after all (but I still love him!)

That wasn't very surprising smile

After watching My Best Fiend by Werner Herzog, it pretty much sums up Kinski's personality.

But on the other hand, he got 101 percently into his every role and I can't argue with the topic; I love him.

Wait, I was not trying to be rude, I thank you for posting this, it was nice to read, care cup was to Kinski problem, like if Bush died my care cup would also be empty, it wasn't for the topic!!!

You're talking about your rep of course, we don't even know each other so don't worry about that smile

Genius and madness are closely linked.

Kinski's roles mirrored so much of his own strengths and failings.

A paranoid is someone who knows a little of whats really going on.

Re: Kinski was a loony after all (but I still love him!)

Sorry there...totally misunderstood you.
I'll take it back then Larry.

Had me in tears the first time I saw it.

And I like how Herzog puts it: "...this is the way I'd like to keep him in my memory."

Some of those stories herxog recalls are hillarious, even if they are not 100% true. Especially the whole thing with kinski trying to act like a man of nature and all: takes a few photos in the outskirts of the jungle, posing, and then staying in camp except when shooting the whole rest of the time

"Luc-Ass deserves every flack he gets. In fact, I think he's getting off pretty easy. What he REALLY Deserves is to go broke and be forced to move into a dumpster behind Pizza Hut."

Re: Kinski was a loony after all (but I still love him!)

my favourite part was where he broke into some bitches kitchen, trashed it, called her a whore, strangled her, then called the cops on HER

Re: Kinski was a loony after all (but I still love him!)

Just watched a whole bunch of Kinski-videos on youtube. This guy is amazing. He doesnt listen at all, he talks when other people are not finished yet, he is outrageously nervous and aggressive.
~~~ But still, I love him.
A better tomorrow.
Re: Kinski was a loony after all (but I still love him!)
my favorite part must be when he's on stage in germany
screaming and cursing people.. and then they want to remove him from stage
hilarious but scary too..
dunno if it's on the tube
-edit- it is
Re: Kinski was a loony after all (but I still love him!)
Watched 'my best fiend' again last week - our next rimini night (18th oct) is on his birthday! trying to get the lads to don different Kinski dress - Nosferatu, Aguirre, fitzceraldo etc etc (not gone down well!!)
Imagine how gutted you'd be if he turned up at a party in your house! a hysterical and wonderful mentalist!
Re: Kinski was a loony after all (but I still love him!)
He'll thrash your house whilst claiming he's Jesus...
Try convincing Churchill the bulldog about the insurance claim there! lol
