I went shopping this month!
Roland JX-3P - the sequencer is so easy and intuitive! Love it! And editing sounds isn't so difficult without the programmer
Kawai K3 - Nice string sounds but I haven't even come close to it's fullest potential
Roland Saturn - still haven't touched this yet, but seems simple enough. no voltage control though...
I've got a K3m being repaired, they've had it for over 6 months now arggh! They do sound excellent, great SSM filters and a nice analogue chorus.
Tonight a PolySix was delivered to my door for $171. Battery is super busted and leaked over everything underneath it and a nearby chip. On the plus side, after a bit of cleaning it went from making uncontrollable noises to sounding like an an actual synthesizer (maybe it just needed to be warmed up.. idk). Patches don't save, many of the patch selector buttons don't work, I can't seem to change the oscillator octave frequency or waveform (stuck on modulated pulse wave which is kinda alright) and the erratic mod switch confuses the crap out of me. Now to spend hours digging on the yahoo polysix forums for instructions on reconnecting corroded tracers or whatever they're called. Until I start tearing it apart I have a 80% functional polysix for less than the price of a microkorg. Yippie.
I weakened right at the end of NI's 3 day sale, and bought a copy of reaktor for US$99.
I'm not sure exactly how much I'll use it, but it seems like it could be a useful bit of software, and $99 is a price i can live with if it doesn't work out for me.
I think the main reason I got is is so I'm less tempted by max for live.

Yeah I probably should have jumped on Reaktor too but I am sure they will blow it out again soon enough.

reconnecting traces is super easy. first, get yourself a multimeter that beeps to check contacts. then simply put one pin on one side of a damaged trace, the other one on the other side. if it beeps, it makes contact and is okay. if it doesn't, just follow the trace to the nearest component on both side and connect these pins with a wire.
those buttons could just need a good cleaning. your mod switch and the frequency and waveform selectors are all

reconnecting traces is super easy. just did a bunch of this stuff on my sh09 and all the problems with faders and connector switches are gone.. its a very common problem. if you take a maginfying glass you can actually see the solder joint being loose sometimes..

Boss GE-10 & Roland SIP-300 arrived.. 
Crystal clear sound & ultra-warm overdrive, i've found some nice "brickwall" settings with the GE-10 inserted, the telecaster picking up infinite sustain at very very low volume.. amazing!!

ass far as I know mono have shitload of eckmiller various modules ..one wsw eq, one wswcompressor and shtload of EMT modules BUT they need to returne home

you 2 are in a different league altogether..
all i have that comes even close is 2 TAB EK channels, 2 ntp 179-400 limiters and the a80..
but.. the a80 will be made 100% compatible with the one @ record industry, so we can cut there directly from tape. they have the special cutting a80 there with delay line which bypasses the whole digital system, so it'll be a 100% analogue transfer. i can't wait to hear that..
I will post an Eckmiller pic when the last 2 i bought are deliverd.

akai ax-60 for free well it works but there is something wrong with the filter (sound like a bitcrusher when resonance is tweaked) when i press auto tune this baby crashes completly and some other stuff
anybody have got experience with akai ax synths? and these bugs????
well if you got it for free, it's definitely worth taking to a tech to get looked at!
Hey man, AX-60 is an awesome synth! It is supposed to 'crash' for an x amount of seconds while autotuning and the filter is known to be very harsh. Maybe there's nothing wrong with it...
ok so after wath amount of time it so should be playable again when pushing auto tune?
and somethimes not al key work but this seems to have some thing to do with split mode.....

and it works for i think 80% when i went pickin it up the guy said it didnt do a thing so maybe im lucky 
10 seconds or so. That split thing is also normal.
ok and the filter is supposed to fuck up the signal this bad? i mean really bad as said before a bitcrusher like sound?
and so what is the use of this split option if it does such strange things?
20 minutes later the ax is still auto tuning.....
