Decent speakers is my next move too..
a DSI Smokemachine :
or noes...:P
this thing
But in the Pot Edition variant, I hate those encoders...So it has those nice SCI P5 alike knobs (like the above smokemachine has)
well will take 2 weeks before it is here, but I got a real nice price so I dont mind to wait a few days.
septi": way better with them pots the encoders dsi uses arent really good my evolver never had problems but a friend has a MEK on witch ALL encoders died and costumer service @ dsi isnt really that much @ least without a ticket (bonnetje) the dont do to much for you
oliver: you should it a real + having some decent speakers

yeah i know all about it, I also got a Poly Evolver Keyboard here already
I replaced the old encoderboards by new designed encoder boards, no problems so far with those. But as I do not use more than 1 part in a synth at a time, there is no need for encoders really also.
FXpansion DCAM Synth Squad plugins.
I just spent a few hours comparing the Strobe instrument with my Pro~One and I am amazed at how good these plugins sound. I'm definitely snobby when it comes to this stuff, but in many cases I have to admit that the sound from the plugin is indistinguishable from the actual Pro~One. Bump the polyphony up to 6, and it will sound remarkably close to the P600. The 4-pole LoPass setting is a very Sequential Circuits sounding filter.
On my 4 year old 2.16 GHz Core 2 Duo iMac the Strobe plugin uses about 9% CPU. A sustained 6-note chord pushes it up to about 14%. Not bad at all. Haven't spent much time with the other plugins yet, but Amber (the string machine one) uses way more CPU (hovers around 20%).
Sorry for the ramble, but I haven't been this impressed with a plugin synth for a long time.

It's a really simple sequencer (with chord memory), I bought it for its sexiness.
in the run on marktplaats for a mc808 ...... finger crossed, no one overbid me in 3 days
Nintendo DSI and Korg DS10. Pressies from my gorgeous girlfriend . I'm a very lucky guy.
nice. i won a dsi at work last week (yay!) so am just waiting for a card to hopefully allow me to try all the homebrew apps i downloaded yesterday. the ds-10 looks great, but it seems crazy that its stand alone and you can't even save any midi files
hey yeh well i was thinking if i get useful jams just warp them in ableton to match then re-edit also. Should be able to mark them pretty easily.
nice score mikoni would like a synare one day
Picked up this beauty today!!! Expanded with 2 extra soundbanks and the original manual. Only one owner and it has never left the studio.
I am so amazed of the sounds in this badboy, it is so slamming and so wide spanning. From latin stuff across disco and techno and slamming industrial sounds. 72 samples that can be tuned, and touch sensitive pads.... Syncs to din and midi. 8 separate outputs. And last but not least the John Farnham Claps!!! LOL
