Re: What new booty have you acquired?

But it aint a double 770.
It's more like a double 700.
The 770 got much more interesting stuff.

Re: What new booty have you acquired?

Yeah - this is why i really wanted a 770. but the issue with the 770 is that it doesn't seem to have the same circuits as the 700/700s/800dv, and so it doesn't have the sound quality of the others.  (well, from what people say.... I've never met a working 770 - only ever seen one, and it was broken!)

Re: What new booty have you acquired?

I had it twice and it's a weird/cool little synth.
I think the vco and vcf section is pretty similar.

Those are so good. Mine (an F1) has been traveling with me for 10 years and although it looks all messed up, it still works perfectly, right down to the psu input which looks and feels like it would have been the first thing to break after a few months.
Sorry, but I dunno about the fader caps. You can probably order them from an authorized Soundcraft dealer.

Re: What new booty have you acquired?

Tr-606 for cheap, the cymbal seems to work but is very very very low in the output, independently of its volume knob position, could it be the potentiometer itself that's dead?

Also, microkorg, I couldn't resist, it was 120$.

Re: What new booty have you acquired?

Microkorg for 120? That's a bargain! Imho a very underrated synth - if you know synthesis you'll get decent sounds out of it - but I guess you are aware of this wink

update complete. the display is considerably duller (edit: fixed having found they added contrast control) but apart from that it's better in every way possible.
