Can anyone recommend a hotel!!

Re: New York City

TG show on Thursday was a lot of fun as well. They did two sets the first was the soundtrack they did for a Jarman short. It made me wish I was on acid for the first time in about 10 years. The second set was Brutal in a good way.

about renting Bicycles, I feel like the only place I have ever seen them to rent is by Central park for hourly rates. Then I googled out of curiosity and Franks has some

As far as hotels I'm not so sure either. Most of my friends are broke, so whenever they visit they always couch surf. The  site I used to find my hotel in Amsterdam that worked well for me was

If you have any questions about what is a good area to stay in let me know what kind of stuff you want to do while your here and I can offer some advice.

Re: New York City

I think the Wierd parties look cool, not sure how often they are on but they look pretty wild at least from the liner notes from the LPs

The Wierd nights are great, every wed. at home sweet home. They are getting WAY too crowded these days though, which is why they're charging a 5 dollar cover from now on.

Re: New York City

hi, i am ging to visit NY from 3-10-2010 - 3-21-2010. it´s my second visit and i found some interesting links here. anyone more infos about some parties, concerts stores?

i only found a few dates to go out in the evening, next to shops/museums/restaurants etc. jus-ed/extended set and zorn´s stone project with some interesting acts.

any ideas are welcome, thanx in advance

Re: New York City

Greg Wilson is playing at Market Hotel on 3/20. I'm not going because the venue kinda skeezes me out (I call it the bed bug hotel) and the sound system is always tragically bad at those parties. But if you just wanna party and don't care about that stuff it could be fun.

On Sunday 3/21 afternoon Danny Krivit and Ron Trent are at Santos Party House from 5pm until about midnight, if you're still here. $5 before 6pm.

There's an awesome exhibit of Victorian photo collages at the Met, worth seeing.

Re: New York City

I think you should taste at Becco Restaurant wonderful food and excellent service. The pasta was to die for and our waiter (Dave from PA) was extra helpful and friendly. I would suggest Becco to anyone going to New York.
