i already asked about it on the old CBS forum.
some how mange to work it out and now problems again
got reversed keys Korg Poly-800. it receives all MIDI channels at the same time.
doesn't matter on which channel it sets.
i think it's known issue but if i remember right rude had some way to solve it or a link to some site about it
i looked over the web but couldn't find nothing.

there is the hawk800 mod that can be purchased at http://patrioticduo.tripod.com/hawk800/ .
i used to find (before i sold mine) that if you adjust the parameter for the midi channel immediately after you turn it on, that this resolves the problem. After a while you'll just do it automatically.
From memory...
turn unit on
hit parameter button
type in 86
adjust value up one
adjust value down one

anybody got the factory patch wav for the poly 800? i looked around on the internet (i found it for 5 pounds, but eh) and even tried that youtube video.

Just checkin' did you turn on the tape button on the back? That sais tape enable something like that.
i have it somewhere, although i always failed with loading sounds, i guess i never tried hard enough

I also had problems loading the sounds in from most mp3s and wavs. This one has finally worked for me.

ok guys.. thanks.. gonna try again tonight with a better cable and the 3 or 4 different wavs i got. last night i couldnt even get it to say error or react in anyway.
and yes, i followed the instructions.
