Don't know what happened to the sound in this video. Even then I like the song. The 12" sounds much fuller. They released a greatest hits cd also which is remastered (interesting). The female singer later joined Trans-X b.t.w. (<= read link).

Good enough, a bit too much on the mids but I think you must also consider (?) the notes on the back of The Right To Die: "Recorded at home on an eight track Teac". The back of "Snowy Red - Snowy Red" says: "Recorded at Room 101 on a two track Telefunken (thank you Jimmy)". I think Room 101 wasn't a megabudget studio also.
Congrats on that Denise Simmins! That Analoges Rusland compilation has a cool track on it I heard in a mix once: Roboti - Apartment On The Moon.
