Re: The Quick ID Topic

I think everyone of you should know the song I'm looking for: I recently heard "Motorcycle Madness", and when hearing it, I was absolutely sure that it must be a rip-off of another song (the characteristic synth melody of course). Today, there was "Red for Love" on IFM2, and at first I thought that is the one I'm looking for, but when I listened to it again, I noticed it must also be some kind of rip-off. What is the original song with the original melody?

Here the songs that I consider rip-offs (even though the one I'm looking for might be the real rip-off, of course wink )

Re: The Quick ID Topic

i think you are referring to the flirts - passion.
it being a bobby "o" production there is no surprise it features slightly in that tony caso track. bobby "o" is a true recycler.

Re: The Quick ID Topic

Yeah I guess that's the one wink but to be honest, now when I'm hearing it, I think I like the other two better  lol

Re: The Quick ID Topic

I always thought Mike Mareen - Love Spy was the "original" for Motorcycle Madness. Flirts was definitely first with that melody, but the production style and bassline is straight from Love Spy.

When i listen to the dub of Tony Caso I can almost hear (well, in my head) Mike Mareen singing over the top.

Re: The Quick ID Topic

I wonder if somebody can help me ID a track that I-G played at Bleep43 this weekend. It was fairly cheesy Italo track with the lyrics "I think I'm ready for you now" and I think it had a guitar solo in it too.

It's not Tina Are You Ready by Valentine or I'm Ready by Kano.

Thanks

Recognize this from the track-id section on the overfitteddisco-site. It's been up there very long (some years already) and still no-one has id-ed it yet. Well maybe someone over here will...
