A great documentary ! I've seen it at the cinema last year. Bought the DVD today (but the image quality is very bad).
At the same occasion, bought the book "The transparent City" by the german photographer Michael Wolf.
Fascinating.
There is also his work about Hong Kong, "Architecture of Density".
Edit : oops the pictures hurt the eyes
Edit 2 : hmm I erased the second picture, because I hurt too much the eyes (I'm still suffering 20 minutes after looked at it)
@Mademoiselle. Interesting documentary indeed.! To bad the dvd is such a bad quality.
Cool book(s) by Micheal Wolf! Will check it out at my local book shop, thanks for the tip :-)
I see that my previous link to the images has been removed...
@ Tomplex
Michael Wolf has a website if you want to check : www.photomichaelwolf.com
I'm not crazy about all his works but some of his "series" are really impressive
The french photographer Philippe Chancel has published a new book (after DPRK in 2005) about North Korea,
I loved the "The Genius Of Photography" series on BBC. Some of my all time favs talking to the camera like Joel Sternfeld, Stephen Shore, Martin Parr, Ed Ruscha....
You can watch it on youtube if you have patience and like tiny screens..

Found a really good blog about photography, with good interviews with people like Michael Wolf, Alec Soth, Jeff Brouws, etc

Michel Aguilera and his Hiroshima clothes serie.
There is an exhibit about it in the french suburb which finish today but with the wind tempest alert, I'm not sure to go.
wow! i wonder how often you will get an exhibition like that though, I would go just because you might not get the chance to again
