Re: What new booty have you acquired?

paid 160€ for it.. guy just living a few streets away was selling it which decided me
you don't want to ship those (20kg and super-mega large)
i use the DSM1 and always wanted the DSS1, so far i have tested the pianos & strings disks, great stuff, super realistic in a "frankie goes to hollywood" kinda way! nice keyboard expressiveness i'm impressed
i'm gonna read the manual tonight and look into the synthesis part.. and this big filter

this one http://www.oakleysound.com/psu-c.htm in combination with a regular YAMAHA PA-20 PSU (available atthomann.de) Krisp1.com makes the PSUs fit rightaway on the yamaha PSU. Mail this guy if you want to order one: http://www.krisp1.com/

You can BTW add 2 of those on each Oakley PSU: http://www.oakleysound.com/dizzy.htm
In this way you can supply a lot of modules.  I use 50U now and have less than 0.5 AMpere current draw

Re: What new booty have you acquired?

I use the Yamaha psu on my small moog modular to smile

i don't need the gear, the gear needs me

Re: What new booty have you acquired?

@septicstudio
good hint for the Yamaha PSU... so I can finally stop using my bench PSU and make it more portable big_smile

Re: What new booty have you acquired?

Finally found a Lexicon PCM-60!!

It was only 80 bucks, but it's very noisy and needs servicing, I think it needs to have its DRAM replaced, or some low pass thing, according to my googling.

Was it worth purchasing? Mid 80's reverberators aren't very impressive. I bought the Yamaha REV-7 few years ago. It's got some cool features but does not sound naturally.

i'm betting that part of the appeal is that it doesn't sound natural...
